A safety-first introductory course that teaches safe handgun handling, legal/ethical responsibilities, basic shooting fundamentals, and supervised live-fire practice. Designed for individuals with little or no prior handgun experience.
If you are going to own a handgun, this class is ESSENTIAL.
Defensive Handgun Level 1

Defensive Handgun Level 1
Building on Essential Handgun, this course teaches responsible handgun ownership with an emphasis on legal understanding and fundamental defensive skills. Students reinforce safe gun handling and essential marksmanship. Then we will build on with threat‑avoidance principles, and the decision‑making framework required for lawful defensive firearm use. Extended range time covers marksmanship, presentation from holster, and defensive handgun drills to increase practical defensive skills.

Building on Defensive Handgun Level 1, this course is an intensive two day range day focusing on reinforcing defensive handgun skills. Range time will include safety orientation, trigger control drills, malfunction drills, movement drills, and introductory level scenarios.

Building on Defensive Handgun Level 2, this course emphasizes the importance of threat analysis through scenarios that replicate real life. Two full days of range time with hands on instruction.
